Why Did Meghan McCain Cheer On Elizabeth Warren?

(TheFreedomFlag.com) – Meghan McCain seems comfortable in the company of Democrats, doesn’t she? The daughter of late Senator John McCain, a vocal critic of President Donald Trump and his family, praised Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren for her debate performance on Wednesday night.

Despite having criticized Warren’s policy proposals in the past, McCain seemed perfectly chummy with the far-left presidential candidate, cheering her on for repeatedly attacking Michael Bloomberg during the debates.

Warren, fighting back amidst plummeting poll numbers, pushed Bloomberg to release several women from their Non-Disclosure Agreements so they could tell their stories of allegedly being treated in sexist and inappropriate ways at work.

Greeting Senator Warren via video call on an episode of The View, McCain said, “First of all, congratulations last night. I really enjoyed watching you. I really enjoyed watching you rip out Mayor Bloomberg’s jugular, I really did.”

Warren smiled, saying “so nice,” expecting McCain’s praise to end there. But it didn’t McCain REALLY loved Warren’s performance, and she explained why.

“I too take great offense at the idea that you’ve been running for president and all the other candidates have been running for president for a long time and you should drop out because he has a billion dollars,” she said.

Are you realizing what’s about to come next? Yep, that’s right, a Trump dig!

“The time that Trump came up last night was when you compared him to saying that Democrats aren’t going to win the nomination if they have a history of harassing women, I think this is an incredibly strong point. He has a history of both misogynistic and racially charged comments over a long period of time and I believe the media has given him a huge pass on this.”

Is it any wonder McCain was so nice to Warren when all along it was just another way of attacking the president?

Warren responded by asking why billionaires are given “extra consideration,” and accused Bloomberg of reaching into his pocket and “spending $100 million more on advertising to try to erase everyone’s memory of what happened last night.”

She wasn’t wrong there, at least. Bloomberg’s performance in the debate on Wednesday was mocked on social media, as he was inundated with attacks from the other candidates who have so far not appeared on the same stage as the former NYC mayor. Bloomberg did manage to get one swing in against Bernie Sanders, however, noting the fact that America’s most famous socialist is a millionaire with three houses.
