Nancy Pelosi’s Pick To Investigate Capitol Already Blames Police!

( Following the January 6 riot in Capitol Hill, which Democrats falsely blamed on former President Donald Trump and used to initiate a failed second impeachment attempt, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appointed retired Army Lt. Gen Russel Honore to lead a review of the Capitol Building’s security process.

And Honore is already peddling extreme narratives.

On Monday, Pelosi once again revealed that she is seeking to establish a post-9/11-style commission that would examine the riot, which saw hundreds of people storming into the Capitol Building. The crowd consisted of both left-wing and right-wing rioters.

In a letter sent by Pelosi to her colleagues in the House, she revealed that the new commission would “investigate and report on the facts and causes relating to the January 6, 2021, domestic terrorist attack upon the United States Capitol Complex…and relating to the interference with the peaceful transfer of power.”

It was a clear attempt at finding evidence to support her false narrative that President Donald Trump incited the riot, despite calling on rioters to stay peaceful and go home, but some of the many holes in her narrative are now being revealed.

The Western Journal revealed last week how Honore has “already apparently made up his mind about who is responsible for the security breach, which doesn’t bode well for an independent investigation.”

Honore has apparently revealed himself as a left-wing activist who sides with the anti-police message of Black Lives Matter and Antifa.

“I was surprised that the Pentagon did not have those troops on standby,” Honore told MSNBC immediately after the riots broke out. “The FBI had a major failure in their intelligence.”

“I think once this all gets uncovered, it was complicit actions by. Capitol Police,” Honore continued, arguing that there should be an investigation into whether the former chief of the Capitol Police, Steven Sund, was “complicit along with the sergeant at arms in the House and the Senate.”

Incredibly, Honore even suggested that law enforcement officials “might have thought 45 [President Donald Trump] was coming to the Capitol and they gave way to the protestors.”

No word yet from House Speaker Pelosi, and who she intends to appoint to lead the investigation now that Honore’s biases have already been revealed.
