Mike Pence To Start New Podcast After Serving As VP

(TheFreedomFlag.com)- It’s easy to forget that former Vice President Mike Pence was a radio star before he entered the White House. That’s presumably why he feels comfortable starting up a new podcast with the Young America’s Foundation.

Politico reported that former Vice President Pence has joined the organization as the first “Ronald Reagan presidential scholar” and will use his platform to advance conservative ideas in new ways.

Former Governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker, who now runs YAF, praised Pence in an official statement.

“Vice President Pence has been a stalwart defender of individual freedom, traditional values, free markets, and limited government throughout his career of distinguished service to our country,” he said. “Now, by partnering with YAF, the Vice President will continue to attract new hearts and minds to the conservative cause.”

Walker said that Pence has “energy and enthusiasm” for the values of the late President Ronald Reagan and will “continue to inspire a new generation of young people.”

Pence’s work after leaving the White House will also include serving the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank in Washington, D.C., as a visiting fellow. Pence will advise the organization on matters of public policy.

Announcing his new role at YAF, Pence said that the Young America’s Foundation “has been a bulwark of the Conservative Moment, advancing the cause of freedom and ensuring our future leaders embrace America’s founding principles.”

Politico reports that Pence’s new podcast will be designed to appeal to young listeners, and the YAF plans to sponsor the show in a similar way to the daily radio program established by former President Ragan in the 1970s when he served as the Governor of California.

A spokesperson for former Vice President Pence said that he plans to project the accomplishments of the last four years to the future and help people learn lessons for the future.

Pence has not been seen publicly since the inauguration of President Joe Biden. His relationship with President Donald Trump soured in the final days of the Trump administration after he refused to work with the former president on challenging the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election results.
