Media Calls Trump “RACIST” For “Chinese Virus” Tweet

(TheFreedomFlag.com) – We know we’re in real trouble when political activists, journalists, and politicians will call you “racist” or some other buzzword for stating a fact.

President Donald Trump, during a tweet about protecting American industry, referred to COVID-19 as the “Chinese virus.” The statement is true as the particular strain of coronavirus that is spreading across the world originated in Wuhan, China.

On Monday, the president announced that “the United States will be powerfully supporting those industries, like Airlines and others, that are particularly affected by the Chinese Virus.”

“We will be stronger than ever before!” he added.

One can’t help but wonder whether Trump did this on purpose, knowing the insane outrage that would ensue!

The tweet was preceded by a message of unity, asking Americans to “band together” and “support your neighbors.” Seems like the Democrats aren’t so interested in unity right now.

Twitter account “Palmer Report” lashed out, calling the president a “f*cking racist d*ckhead.”

Mother Jones writer Daniel King wrote, “We Shouldn’t Need to Explain Why Trump’s ‘Chinese Virus’ Tweet Is Wrong. But Here We Are.”

Except, it isn’t wrong. The virus is literally Chinese, and those who claim it is racist to point this out have yet to offer information that proves otherwise.

The World Health Organization was a big driver of the movement claiming it is racist to note the geographic origins of the virus. A report released by the WHO advised people to refrain from discussing the origins of the virus as it may “incite undue fear.”

What?

NBC News also reported that Rep. Grace Meg called the use of the term “Chinese coronavirus” is “racist rhetoric” that “could potentially be a tactic in distracting from Trump’s handling of the situation.”

Well, if they didn’t want it to be a distraction, why on earth are Democrats and the media continuing to make the thoroughly insane suggestion that noting the origin of the virus is racist?

They didn’t say that during the time of the Spanish Flu!
