(TheFreedomFlag.com) – Elizabeth Warren not only lost the New Hampshire primary, but she lost it bad. On Tuesday night her campaign took a beating after placing fourth behind virtual unknown Amy Klobuchar.
Warren achieved 9.2% of the vote, taking home as many delegates Raymond Moroz – none. If you’ve never heard of him, Moroz is one of a multitude of unpopular and irrelevant candidates. He achieved just 9 votes. He’s in great company with Warren and even former Vice President Joe Biden, who failed to win a single delegate too.
Instead of doing the sensible thing like Andrew Yang did, which was to announce the suspension of his campaign, Warren doubled down and warned that activists (cough, Bernie supporters) may “burn down” the Democratic Party.
Speaking at a campaign event, Warren explained, “since we are here tonight among family and friends, I also want us to be honest with ourselves as Democrats.”
“We might be headed for another one of those long primary fights that lasts for months, we’re two states in with 55 states and territories to go. We still have 98% of our delegates for our nomination up for grabs and Americans in every part of the country are going to make their voices heard.”
Her attempt to justify her giant failings in the New Hampshire primaries echoed those of Joe Biden, who reminded his supporters there is still a long way to go.
“The question for us Democrats is whether it will be a long, bitter rehash of the same old divides in our party or whether we can find another way…Senator Sanders and Mayor Buttigieg are both great people and either one of them would be a far better president than Donald Trump. I respect them both.”
But it didn’t take long for her bitter attitude to be revealed when she made a sly dig at Bernie supporters.
“But the fight between factions in our party has taken a sharp turn in recent weeks with ads mocking other candidates and with supporters of some candidates shouting curses at other Democratic candidates.”
“These harsh tactics might work, if you are willing to burn down the rest of the party to be the last man standing,” she added.
Isn’t it interesting how Warren is quick to tell other candidates to be decent, despite the fact that she claimed on stage during a televised debate that Bernie Sanders had told her a woman couldn’t becomepresident.
You can see her disingenuous speech/tantrum in the video below.
