(TheFreedomFlag.Com)- Former Vice President Joe Biden must be extremely angry about how the coronavirus pandemic has hurt his campaign. The struggling Democratic candidate, who is still likely to win the nomination, keeps stumbling through interviews, forgetting where he is, and failing to achieve any relevance while President Donald Trump handles the coronavirus pandemic.
For that reason, the Democratic presidential hopeful has decided to go full scorched earth and start blaming the president for job losses caused by the virus.
In a statement released by the campaign (why no live address, Joe?), the former vice president accused the president of implementing a “slow and uncoordinated” response to the coronavirus outbreak. Biden claimed that it was this response that is to blame for the huge surge in unemployment as businesses across the country are forced to close.
Biden might think that the president is handling this badly, but the voters don’t agree. A Gallup poll found that 60% of Americans believe President Trump is handling the COVID-19 situation well. His overall job approval rating is also back to a record high of 49%.

In the statement, Biden claimed that “the harsh reality is that at least 3 million people now don’t have jobs because our president didn’t do his job when it mattered.”
Big claims for a man who didn’t learn from the 2009 swine flu outbreak, or the Ebola crisis in 2014. As vice president, Joe Biden and President Barack Obama did not stock up on important medical supplies that would help the United States in the event of another viral outbreak.
Why doesn’t Joe Biden have any accountability on this? Did he forget that for eight years he was in government, had sway over the decisions made by the president, and could have stocked up on medical supplies like masks and ventilators?
Biden’s comments are in reference to the 3.3 million Americans who applied for unemployment last week.
His comments also make little sense when you consider the decisive action taken by the president to curb the spread of the disease. Three months ago, the president announced that foreign nationals who had recently been in China would be banned from entering the United States. That seems like pretty good foresight to me!
Unfortunately, Trump can’t control a pandemic.
